Computer Scientist | Health Researcher | Postdoc
Dr. Aarti Sathyanarayana is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School and Boston Children's Hospital, working with Dr. Kenneth Mandl in the Computational Health Informatics Program.
Her research lies at the cross-section of signal processing, machine learning, and human health. She focuses on quality of life technologies, and advances cutting-edge machine learning techniques for the betterment of human health and wellness, particularly in digital phenotyping and the identification of digital biomarkers.
The goal: To ultimately empower our health related decision-making and improve the quality of life for all.
On behalf of the American Epilepsy Society and the Scientific Program Committee, Dr. Sathyanarayana was selected out of 1300 as a winner of the 2019 Young Investigator Award. This award recognizes young investigators conducting basic, translational, or clinical epilepsy research.
