Computer Scientist | Health Researcher | Postdoc
Dr. Aarti Sathyanarayana is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School and Boston Children's Hospital, working with Dr. Kenneth Mandl in the Computational Health Informatics Program.
Her research lies at the cross-section of signal processing, machine learning, and human health. She focuses on quality of life technologies, and advances cutting-edge machine learning techniques for the betterment of human health and wellness, particularly in digital phenotyping and the identification of digital biomarkers.
The goal: To ultimately empower our health related decision-making and improve the quality of life for all.
On behalf of the American Epilepsy Society and the Scientific Program Committee, Dr. Sathyanarayana's research was selected as a winner of the 2019 Young Investigator Award. This award recognizes young investigators conducting basic, translational, or clinical epilepsy research and was honoured during the American Epilepsy Society's Annual Meeting in December in Baltimore.
